Swype Keyboard

I was just recently playing around with the SlideIT keyboard for my Android based tablet. This got me thinking about whether or not Swype was included on my tablet.

Sure enough, Swype is included on my tablet. Not sure which I prefer. However, Swype does seem to have some nice features such as the ability to add custom words to my dictionary easily.

The sound effects on Swype are also handy and give me an auditory sense of typing the words.

Plus, at last at this point, Swype is not costing me any money. Slideit is available as a free trial, but the non-trial version costs $5.99 in the Android Market.

I think for now, I am going to play with Swype and see how it goes.
